Based in London JPRAM Shipping has specialised in shipping cargo for private individuals to the Caribbean for over 30 years. Your cargo is professionally loaded into freight containers at our own premises with the utmost care and attention. It is then is shipped straight through from the U.K. without being opened or discharged until reaching the final destination.

How much does it cost?

We offer very competitive rates based upon the size of your cargo. Please contact our office with your cargo dimensions and well be happy to quote for your shipment.

Is there a minimum charge?

We have a very low minimum charge which covers freight, handling and documentation charges. 

What about payment for the shipping charges?

Ocean freight charges are normally payable in London. Any port fees or customs duty at the destination are the responsibility of the consignee.

Is there an office at the destination I can talk to?

Yes, RAM Shipping has an agent at every location that we ship to. They an advise on, or assist you with, local customs clearance procedures. They can also arrange to send your cargo onto an inland address if you wish.

How long does it take for the cargo to arrive in the islands?

The approximate transit times between the UK and the various destinations are as follows:

Barbados 10 days

St. Lucia 9 days

St. Vincent 13 days

Dominica 11 days

Grenada 12 days

St Kitts 11 days

Jamaica 14 days

Montserrat 17 days

When should I deliver my cargo?

Sailings are fortnightly and cargo must be delivered 5 days prior to the sailing date. We ask that you call our office prior to delivering the cargo to our warehouse so we can make a booking and reserve space in the container for you.

Where do I deliver the cargo in the U.K.?

First call our office to place a booking tel. 020 7476 0154. Then deliver your cargo to our warehouse at:

If you prefer, we can arrange collection and delivery of your cargo to our warehouse. We do require 48 hours notice prior to collecting.

Do you provide packing services?

Yes, simply deliver to us or we can collect our shipment. We will then have it professionally packed for you at a favourable rate.

Do you provide packaging?

Yes, for a small charge we can deliver a choice of packaging to your doorstep. You can pack your cargo while the driver waits if you can pack the cargo immediately, or we will return to collect your cargo at a later date.

Can you ship cars?

Certainly, cars can be professionally packed into freight containers and we offer very completive freight rates based on the vehicle size. There are import restrictions on vehicle, so please ask for advice from the relevant Embassy before shipping.
